With high speed comes an even greater need for performance braking.

Thanks to its racing pedigree and heritage, Ferodo Racing has recently signed an agreement as braking technical partner of Imperiale Racing, the racing team of Autocarrozzeria Imperiale.

Ferodo will be on board with Imperiale Racing throughout the 2019 Italian GT3 and GT Endurance championship races where they will be competing with other top-class racing brands such as Audi, Ferrari, BMW and Mercedes.

Imperiale Racing, run by professionals who are continuously looking for the highest levels of performance, has a history of victories in races throughout Europe. In the last few years the team has become a reference for Lamborghini in GT racing, with their Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVOs.

In  GT3, the two driver teams in action are Vito Postiglione-Jeroen Mul (Italian GT3 PRO category) and Pietro Perolini-Ben Gersekowski (Italian GT3 PRO-AM category). The PRO category team recently claimed their second win of the season at the Imola Circuit.

In the GT Endurance class, they rely on the duo Postiglione-Mul joined by Alex Frassineti. They recently celebrated a stunning victory at the Misano World Circuit.

The next racing appointment will be with the GT3 race at the Mugello circuit from July 19th to 21st.

Sergio Bonfanti’s quote (General Manager, Ferodo Racing):

“We are delighted for this partnership as by working with professional and easy to work with people everything is going to be simpler. For us racing is a way to innovate our products and potentially take this competitive advantage in other environments such as the OE and the AM channels. To do a proper work we need to rely on teams that have the skills and the transparency which allow us to move in the right direction in the shortest possible amount of time. This is why we came to an agreement with team Imperiale. We see in their infrastructure and above all, their people, the skills we need to operate in a win-win environment.”

Another top-level partnership for the “first name in brakes” brand!
